Today Madeleine and I were listening to children's music while we were coloring pictures. On the CD were a few songs from Sesame Street. Ernie came on singing "Rubber Ducky." Madeleine abruptly stopped coloring and looked up and said, "Unca Jay!"
I tried to tell her that it was Ernie from Sesame Street but she vehemently insisted that it was Unca Jay. So there you go Jay, you sound like Ernie. Goofy haired, rubber ducky loving Ernie.
But don't feel too bad. She has started playing the generic message on the answering machine and insists that it is Pawpaw. (You know the message with the automated man saying, "Hello, no one is home right now please leave a message"). So obviously she isn't good with voice recognition.
