I took Miriam to the doctor today for her 6 month check up. She is doing great. She weighs 15 lbs 3 1/2 oz. and is 26 inches long--according to the charts this makes her completely average in weight and height. Everything else was good.
As soon as the doctor walked in, Madeleine took it as her cue to get into everything. She was opening the door and trying to sneak out, moving chairs over so that she could climb up on the table, jumping on the scale, and anything else that she could think to do to make noise. Finally I had to make her sit in the corner just so I could talk to the doctor (the funny thing is that Madeleine LIKES sitting in the corner--she goes and puts her nose up against the wall until I tell her she can move). The doctor wished me good luck as she was leaving (she said that I was going to need it with Madeleine). What I need is a constant flow of caffeine to keep up with this girl.
