Madeleine has memorized the words to the Bingo song--"There was a farmer who had a dog and Bingo was his name-o." Except she gets a little confused at the beginning and sings, "Old MacDonald has a farm and Bingo was his name-o.": Now I am really confused, is Bingo Old MacDonald's name or the farm's name?!?! I asked Madeleine but she didn't know.
Well, we are in Lubbock and on our way to Dallas on Friday. We FINALLY got an offer on the house (we have had it on the market since November). As long as everything goes well, we will close on Thurs. June 29 (Joel's birthday--what a rockin' birthday present). So I get to go down there and wrap up lose ends next week--clean out the garage, get some repairs done, etc.
Then we have the wedding Sat. July 1st. For those of you who don't know, have forgotten, or are living on another planet, Joel's brother Jim is getting married. I am so excited!! This is going to be a fun wedding. And I finally get a sister in-law (it's about freakin' time!!). I just really wish that I could have been in Dallas for all the prewedding fun:-( But Madeleine has a gorgeous flower girl dress so that makes up for it a little.
