Garden

I wanted to have a small vegetable garden this year, but I didn't really want to have to dig up a patch of yard to do it. Instead, I now have a potted garden on my patio. While Joel was mowing the grass Saturday, the girls and I planted out garden. We have 3 tomatoes, 2 bell peppers, 1 hot pepper, onions, and various herbs (basil, cilantro, thyme, mint, and oregano).

Unfortunately the girls weren't much help filling the pots with dirt--Madeleine has some weird aversion to getting dirty. And Miriam had more fun taking stuff out of the pots than putting it into the pots. But we got the job done and now all I will have to do is water the garden every few days.
