Pie Making

Saturday I made pie. Of course the girls wanted to help. But I was a MEAN mama and didn't let them help. But I did promise them that they could make their own pie. And the next day, I kept my promise. The girls made apple and blackberry pie.

I really should let them cook more often. And I did learn that this is the way to let them cook. If I had let them help me with my pie, I just would have gotten angry when they ate half of the pie dough as they were rolling it out. But since I let them make their OWN pie, I could have cared less that they were munching on the raw dough.
