2 Weeks Old

Today is Amanda's two-week birthday. She is doing fantastic. She had her two week check up yesterday. The doctor checks babies at 2 weeks to make sure that they are back to their birth weight. Not only was Amanda back at her birth weight, she was past it. She weighs 7lbs 6ozs now.

She is very healthy and alert. She can support her head when in a sitting position and she can even lift it up some when laid on her tummy. For those of you with out kids, all that means nothing. But for us new moms out there we know it is a big accomplishment :-)

I promise that I will try to start posting more regularly now that I am feeling good. Here are some pictures that Bill took before he and Betty left on Wednesday.
