Amanda's Baptism

We were in Lubbock from June 27 through July 5. We had a great time visiting with family. While we were there we had Amanda's baptism at the church I grew up in (and was also baptized in).

Joel was a real trooper that day. He woke up really sick (it turned out to be strep throat). He felt so bad that he almost didn't go. But he sat through it and then went straight to bed afterwards.

All three girls were very good for the service. We didn't hear a peep out of Amanda and Madeleine and Miriam colored. It helped that we split the big girls up and put them on different rows. Afterwards we went back to my grandparents house for brunch. And the girls got a chance to play some more with their cousin Kylie.
