The Party

Finally, I am getting around to posting about the party. We invited all of Madeleine's classmates and their moms and younger siblings to come to the park after school last Tuesday. We had lunch and cake and the kids played. All together there were about 35 people there. Here are some pictures in no particular order.

Here is the cake and all the kids impatiently waiting for their piece. This was the only time that most of the kids were all together in one spot (I say most because there were a couple of kids who turned up their noses at the thought of cake).


And here is the birthday girl after cake. Being the good mom that I am, I didn't clean her face until we got home an hour later.

The building in the background is Madeleine's school.

And were there are hills, there are little boys rolling down them. The girls soon saw what fun they were having and joined them.
