Madeleine's birthday is next Friday. And, as per usual, she wanted to spend her birthday money at Build-a-Bear. Since next week we will be busy getting ready for the move, we went early.
The other two girls decided to use some of their savings to get a bear too. We followed up our shopping with pizza at Sbarro's. It was an awesome girls night out.
And we owe dad lots of hugs. The only way we were able to do it tonight was because he so selflessly volunteered to sit at the airport for at least an extra hour (we dropped him off at the train station on our way to the mall). Thank you Joel for being such a great dad!
As a funny side note, Amanda named her Hello Kitty doll Bingo. And Madeleine's stuffed dog is wearing a kitty cat t-shirt. I think the irony of it was lost on them.
