OK, this will be my first real week as a SAHM (Stay at Home Mom). I actually haven't worked since the end of Sept. but from Sept. until now my life has been completely crazy (selling a business, having a baby, selling our house, moving to another state, etc., etc.,). So, this will be my first week to be half way settled and be at home full time with both girls. What am I going to do?!?!
I have been looking forward to this but I am a little intimidated now that the time has come. What will I do all day with a 2 year old and a baby? How do I keep from becoming one of those moms who's only conversational topic is kids? Does being a good SAHM require a degree in Early Childhood Development? How do I stimulate a 2 year old and help her learn and develop? How do I make sure that I give the baby enough attention when her sister is so demanding? How do I keep from going out and shopping all day?!?! (The Super Target here is just too cool and its connected to a mall!)
Being a SAHM is completely overwhelming. But this will be a very fun situation to handle. I am looking forward to figuring everything out.
