Clip, clip, clip

I have a terrible confession to make. I have never, ever trimmed Madeleine's fingernails. When she was a baby they just seemed to magically trim their selves (Thank you Angie!). And as she got older she started biting her nails (a bad habit but it saves me from trimming them!). I've tried to trim her nails but it isn't worth it (it is very scary to try to clip the nails of a writhing, crying toddler).

But now I have Miriam's nails to deal with and I don't have an awesome babysitter to trim them. I have to trim them constantly. She has this habit of rubbing her head as she falls asleep. And unfortunately she usually scratches herself up pretty good before I realize that she is due for a trim. Her nails just look so small that it is hard to believe that there is any excess to trim!
