Hide the Silver! Madeleine is coming!

Look closely at this picture--especially the floor. Notice the silverware strewn everywhere? Tonight I was cooking dinner. I was running late so I wasn't paying attention to Madeleine. I knew that she kept coming into the kitchen and then leaving but I didn't know why, and since she was letting me cook dinner in peace, I didn't really care. But then I reached down to grab a spoon and there was no silverware! I knew that there was a full drawer of silverware when I started cooking. So I went looking for Madeleine and this is what I found. She had put ALL the silverware in or around her play kitchen. The sink of her kitchen was full of silverware, there was silverware in the play refrigerator and play stove, and silverware all over the floor.

I should have known that this was coming. She is obsessed with the silverware drawer. At random times of the day, she will go into the kitchen and get out a spoon (her favorite utensil). I will find her walking around aimlessly with the spoon. Very weird.
