Pro: Yesterday the girls and I did laundry. As we walked out of the laundry building, Madeleine says "Doggies!" I turned around and there were two DEER about 5 feet from us. Remember, we live in the middle of the city right off the highway and a busy street. It was very cool to see those deer.
Con: When I got up at 7 this morning it was 19 degrees. It is now almost 10, and it is 10 degrees--yes, the temperature dropped 9 degrees in the past two hours, and it is the middle of the day (not night time).
Pro: Even though it is as cold as can be, we have the most beautiful snow falling right now. The girls and I are still in our PJs, sitting on the couch, eating chocolate chip pancakes, and watching the squirrels play in the snow covered trees.
