Saturday Fun

Park in GoldenCoors Brewery
Park in GoldenMadeleine at Wild Bill Hickock's museum
Saturday we toured the Coors brewery (very interesting and very big), walked around downtown Golden, and we went to Lookout Mountain to see Wild Bill Hickock's grave and museum.

I think that my favorite thing was the Coors brewery. It is really an amazing operation; it is its own little city. They have their own power plant, greenhouse (they grow all their own fresh flowers to make floral arrangements), and their own train depot. The place is vast.

Madeleine's favorite was Lookout Mountain and Wild Bill Hickock's museum. She was able to pose as Annie Oakley and ride a fake horse. I take that back. Her favorite place was the Coors museum because she got to ride a bus (and she just looooves buses). In fact, she is still talking about those buses and it is two days later.
