Sunday we went to another park. The park had several lakes and we went to one with a small beach area for swimming. Madeleine loved it. Which surprised me. Last summer we took her to a beach area and she cried the whole time. She didn't like being dirty. But not this time. This time she was digging in the mud, throwing mud, sitting in mud, walking in mud, and basically doing everything but smearing it on her (which I am sure she would have done if she had thought about it). Even Miriam had fun it. I let her stand in it. Next time I will remember to let the girls wear a swimsuit so that way I won't have to worry about them getting mud all over their selves.
