Madeleine has officially entered the nude phase that most kids go through. Most of the time, as the day progresses, she gradually sheds her clothing. By dinner time, she is down to her diaper. And now she has entered in to wanting to get nude in public.
Yesterday at the park, she took off her shirt. I didn't think much about it and I didn't try to hard to get her to put it back on (she's 2--it's not that big of deal). But a couple of minutes later, she took off her shorts. So there she was running around in tennis shoes and a diaper. Of course she wouldn't come to me. So I had to chase her around the park and practically tackle her to get her dressed again. Then last night, while I was changing her diaper, she darted off and ran out the screen door and onto the porch! At least the porch is small and I could easily grab her. What a pain. Now I am going to really have to watch her to make sure she keep s her clothes on.
