Madeleine's Boo-Boo

Madeleine got a boo-boo about 5 days ago. But she didn't really get a boo-boo--she wanted a band-aid so I put one on her knee. Ever since the band-aid went on her knee, she keeps discussing her boo-boo. She wants me to be careful and not touch it when I pull her pants down. I had to apply tape to the band-aid so that it wouldn't fall off (I told her she could have a new one but she shot down that idea). Last night, Joel asked her how if her boo-boo was OK. She said, "It feels much better now." How can it feel much better when there was never a boo-boo there in the first place?!?! How weird. And what an imagination--she has carried on this story for days.
