Madeleine has a brother. His name is Joey, sometimes; othertimes he has no name. He has yellow hair and is 3 years old. He likes to stay home when Madeleine goes to the park. Joey is the frequent subject of Madeleine's stories (and she tells stories very frequently). Sometimes Joey lives with Uncle Jay, sometimes he rides bikes or plays with the kids.
Madeleine is very imaginative. Over the past couple of weeks she has started telling some very detailed stories. The other day she said that she had a red motorcycle. And she and daddy were going to ride it to the mountains. I asked her where daddy was going to sit. She kind of half way rolled her eyes and said, "In the back." She went on to tell how we all had motorcycles and we were going to wear those things on our heads and drive down to Texas. While in Texas, we were going to ride around with Pappa and Uncle Jim (they had motorcycles too) but Uncle Jay just had a bicycle so he couldn't go. The next day we saw a red motorcycle outside the gym. Out of no where Madeleine said that it was just like her motorcycle. What a silly, fun girl.
