She is really growing up! She is basically walking. She will walk about 6-8 feet and then stop. Soon she will be walking everywhere and not crawling any. And she is talking up a storm. She says Dada, Bye, Hi, and Night, Night. Her favorite game right now is to hand me things and say "bye, bye." And then she waits for me to say thank you before she cracks up a laughing.

She also likes to cook. She plays with Madeleine's kitchen stuff all the time. She has figured out how to stir things with a spoon and then she puts it in the play sink or on the stove. The spoon thing those has made meal times hard. She wants to try to feed herself. So I am constantly having to guard the bowl. And I have to convince her to eat off my spoon (where the food is) instead of her spoon (which is empty).

Miriam has also discovered the concept of shoes. If Madeleine's shoes are on the floor, Miriam will go over and try to put them on her own feet. She just started doing this the other day and she actually pretty good at it--she has gotten them on her feet several times.

I just can't believe that she will be one in a month. Time is flying by.
