Miriam on the other hand is my sensitive little soul. She often cries when her sister gets in trouble. And if I am in a foul mood, she is kind and sweet and tries to cheer me up. She loves to sit on the couch with me and cuddle. Her favorite move right now is to press her forehead and nose to mine and kiss the air between us. She spends large amounts of time each day hugging and loving her dolls and stuffed animals.
I always feel a little trite when I talk about Miriam. How can one baby possibly be so good? When I talk about her I feel like I ripping off some sappy Hallmark card about cute, cuddly babies. But everything I say about Miriam is true--she is too cute and cuddly and sweet. And whoever wrote those sappy Hallmark cards must have read my mind!
Miriam is just one and already has such a sweet little personality. She is all sunshine and roses (except for the two hours prior to bed time), peace and love, and calm and quiet. Thank you Jesus!! Seriously, I know God sent her special to me because if I had two like Madeleine I would go absolutely insane.
Every morning Miriam wakes up about 3o minutes before Madeleine. And I really treasure that time. I love sitting there cuddled up on the couch with her. Enjoying her wonderful, quiet personality before it is overshadowed by Madeleine's exuberance. I really have two special girls who are as different as night and day.
