This picture was taken today while we hiked in the foothills next to our house.
It makes me kind of sad to see Miriam grow up. She was such a cute baby! But now she is a cute little girl. And after this weekend I think that she will look even less like a baby. Saturday we are going to get her hair cut--it is getting a little out of control. But with a haircut she will lose what is left of her baby looks :-(
We might be losing our cute baby but we are gaining the cutest and funniest little girl. I thought Madeleine was a daredevil--boy was I wrong. Miriam will do everything Madeleine does and then some! Her favorite thing now is to perform daring stunts while we watch. Currently her favorite phrase is "Daddy watch me!!"
On that note, she has also become a little Daddy's girl. Now that she is older and more independent, she doesn't need me as much and has realized how much fun dad is. She loves going on with Joel to run errands. And she also loves hanging out with him in the garage while he works on projects.
