Visitors

This past weekend we had visitors! My sister Sarah and her mom came to visit. We had a blast.

Miriam kept calling Sarah "Cristy." She knew Sarah's name and would call her by that half the time but the other half she would call her "Cristy." So I decide that Miriam thought that "Cristy" was a generic term for Aunt.

We did lots of fun things--went to the Boulder Farmer's Market, hiked up to a waterfall, went to a small town in the mountains, etc. And Madeleine got her first birthday present (her birthday is Aug. 26)--a tent! When I asked Madeleine what her favorite part of Aunt Sarah and Nana Susan's visit was, Madeleine responded, "When they went shopping and bought me my tent." The girl has her priorities (but not necessarily in the right order)!
