Trip to Iowa

Two weeks ago we went to Iowa and I have been VERY lazy and about putting up my pictures.

We had a blast. Basically the week revolved around eating. Lots of eating. We had homemade ice cream (every other day we tried out a new flavor). Peeled and froze 4 GALLONS of fresh peaches. Friday we had a hot dog roast, a bon fire, and fireworks. We made a trip to Pella to get fresh pastries and Pella bologna (kind of like a mild summer sausage). Then a group made a run to the Maytag cheese factory to get fresh blue cheese and Havarti cheese. And to top it off we started every morning with a great breakfast of homemade pastries that Betty made. Needless to say, I gained 5 pounds on the trip!
