Saturday, a neighbor down the street hosted a huge pumpkin carving party. She went all out-- there were over a 100 pumpkins to carve, soup for lunch, and fruit and pumpkin bread for dessert. We had a great time. In all, we carved 5 pumpkins. After that party, our block was one of the most festive blocks I have ever seen at Halloween. Now someone needs to host a light hanging party for Christmas (but it won't be us!).
