Last week was kindergarten open house. Madeleine, Miriam, and I went up and toured the school with her friend Joey and his mom. We got to see all the kindergarten classes and meet the teachers and principal. Madeleine is very excited about going to the big kid school. Now all of her plans hinge around big kid school--"Will I get to go swimming before kindergarten or after kindergarten?" "Will we I take my backpack to big kid school?" "Will I still get to eat peanut butter and honey sandwiches for lunch when I go to kindergarten?"
And today I went and filled out all the preregistration paperwork. Then I started worrying! Is she ready for kindergarten?! How will she do in such a BIG school? But I know that every kid has to go to school at some point and they all manage to survive. But that doesn't make me worry any less!

WOW she is growing up so fast! I am sure many moms have similar worries about their children. That just means you are a good mom. I am sure she will do GREAT! That is so fun that she is getting so excited about it.
