I will be honest, I could spend all day complaining now--I am tired, I am uncomfortable, and I have a stomach so big that you could hide a Hyundai behind it. But, it is almost over.
Last week at 37 weeks I was "full term." Basically all that means is that the baby could be born any minute. To mark the occasion, my pregnant body decide to start having fairly painful Braxton Hicks contractions (for the lay person those are not real contractions). When I went to the doctor last week she really felt like I would only make it a couple of more weeks at the most. I was having contractions during our visit and she felt like they were pretty strong and would soon turn into real contractions.
At today's visit, I had, unfortunately, not progressed any. I am still in the same condition I was in last week. Basically the doctor's opinion is that I could go two more weeks or I could go two more days--there is no way to tell. I am really hoping though that I have the baby early next week. So everyone send me some good baby vibes and lets get little Amanda out so that we can enjoy her!

THIS IS SO EXCITING!!! We are about to have a new niece! Girls seem to be ruling this family poor James. :-) I can't wait to see her! I hope she comes soon for your sake. I wish I could say I know how you feel but I don't. I do feel bad that you have to go through all of this pain. Hang in there she will be worth it!
Regarding the pain, I am still trying to convince Wendy to do this naturally. It really is so much better for her and the baby. Why wimp out at the end???
:)
I saw some photos of James the other day. He is looking great.
