I would like to apologize to all my brothers and my sister, especially Steven. I am sorry for all those years that I was (I am using the past tense because I hope I have changed) the older, bossy sister. I am very, very sorry. I never knew how annoying it was until I had children of my own. Now I see Madeleine bossing Miriam around and realize just what a brat I was. I am surprised that I didn't end up being pummeled by Steven! I didn't mean to be so annoying, I just like it when things go according to my plan.
Again, I am sorry. And in an effort to make it up to you I will try to let you pick what we do next time we get together!

For what it is worth I don't remember you being too bossy. (Just a little. :) Almost all of my childhood memories with you are good ones. You were a great big sister to me in so many ways.
