Madeleine is learning to ride a bike without training wheels!! The pictures below are actually of her second training session. Earlier in the day, we took her to the park and she practiced in a big grassy field. But we realized that she was actually pretty good and that she would be OK in the culd-de-sac.
She did a great job today and only had one real fall. She was able to do a pretty good job balancing and learned how to put her feet down when she stopped and even used her brakes to stop herself. Pretty soon she will be racing around with all the other big kids on the block. She is going to have a big week--her first bike ride without training wheels and her first day of kindergarten!
