So Madeleine is a lucky girl who gets to stay in Kindergarten an extra year. Her only worry when we talked to her about it was that she wouldn't be able to learn to read this year (she is starting to read right now). Her new teacher was quick to promise that she would be learning to read if she wanted to.
This year Madeleine is in full day kindergarten (last year she just went half days). She is super excited and has already made a group of friends. One of them even promised to bring her a birthday present on Wednesday. Funny kids.

Amanda had to get in on the fun too. When she saw me get out Madeleine's lunch box, she had to have one too (she threw quite the little temper tantrum until I figured out what she wanted). She was very excited to be carrying it to the car. And, in case you are wondering, I did pack Amanda's lunch it--she had 1/2 a peanut butter and honey sandwich and apple slices.
And don't go thinking that Miriam was left out of the whole process. She starts her first day of preschool tomorrow. She will get her own special day. She is so excited, and she has already decided that all the kids are going to love her and they will think she is beautiful (ohhh, to have the self confidence of a 3 year old).
