I am finally getting stir crazy. Since we have gotten to Denver, the only places I have gone are the grocery store, Target, and McDonald's. And the only people I am around are the kids and Joel. Moving has been hard--we had a lot of family and friends in Dallas and here we don't know anyone.
I am determined to meet people but it will be very challenging. I think that being a stay at home mom makes meeting people more challenging than normal. When you work or are in school, you automatically have a way to meet people. Being at home is very isolating--especially in a new town.
Even Madeleine is getting stir crazy. Every morning after she gets dressed she asks if we can go bye bye. Both she and I are the type of person who is always on the move. We've really got to get out of the house and meet people!
