Watermelon, watermelon, watermelon

Madeleine really loves music, and she REALLY wants to sing with the music, especially if we are singing her a song. But she doesn't know the words yet. So while I sing, I am accompanied by a toddler mumbling LOUDLY. Up until now, I always thought of mumbling as something you do quietly. But somehow Madeleine has managed to learn how to mumble at a volume that is just slightly quieter than a shriek. So, while I sing "A B C D E F G" she sings "Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh Uh" at top volume. But she does know a few words to songs. For example, ""Uh uh uh uh uh uh round and round." or "Uh uhuhuh uh uh uh. EIEI-O." Man, I can't wait for her to start talking better. Maybe then we can focus on volume control.
