The good news is that no one else got strep throat!! I woke up Thursday feeling bad and with the beginning of a sore throat. I immediately went to the doctor. I didn't have strep throat but they went ahead and gave me antibiotics to prevent me from getting it. Thank goodness--I couldn't have handled being this pregnant and sick!
And the kids didn't catch it either. I wasn't too worried about them. Joel did a great job of staying up in the bedroom and away from the kids. And I made it clear to them that they couldn't even go into our room.
Joel finally started feeling pretty good today. Since he wasn't contagious anymore, he went to work for short days on both Thurs. and Friday. But he was still feeling pretty bad. Finally now he is pretty much over it. He still has to be careful what he eats though because of sores in his throat. Man am I glad that I didn't get it!
