3 Month Birthday

Today was Amanda's 3 month birthday. This past month she really started to change. She is very alert now. And, as you can see, she started smiling. Her favorite activity is watching her sisters. I can lay her on the living room floor and she will be entertained for at least 30 minutes just by watching them. They are so funny with her. When she is laying around they are constantly going to check on her and give her love. It is also very common for me to find her surrounded by the big girls toys that they have laid next to her (they don't want her to feel left out).

She has also started talking up a storm! Obviously, she isn't using real words but she really chatters. The other day,she was laying in the living room while a Wiggles DVD. She must have really liked this one particular song because she just began chattering away during it.

She is a fantastic baby. She only cries if she needs something (food, a clean diaper, or to go to bed). And she is so easily entertained (but it probably helps that the big girls are constantly trying to entertain her). She is definitely getting bigger. So I am sure you all want to know how big she is but I have no clue! Last month, she was supposed to go in for a 2 month check up but I waited to long to get an appointment. With it being back to school time they were all filled up until August. Friday I will take her to the doctor for her 3 month check up instead. So stay tuned for an update on how big she is. I am guessing that she is about 11 1/2 pounds. We'll see!
